South Surrey White Rock Divers (SSWRD) is a recreational/competitive diving program operating out of the Grandview Heights Aquatic Center, the South Surrey Indoor Pool and the White Rock Gymnastics and Diving Training Academy. The program offers a variety of training times where participants can dive 1, 2 or 3 times a week or more by invitation of the head coach. All of our coaches are nationally certified.

 

Every diver will have a program individually established for them, tailored to their diving skills and goals.

 

Our program offers many different levels of coaching from Learn-to-dive up to National level. 

 

As well as providing the children with a solid foundation of various dives, the Diving Program includes dry land training: a blend of mat work, stretching & trampoline designed to develop each child’s strength and basic diving technique.

 

Children all learn at a different pace, the coaches are trained to work with all levels.  We will help them set goals and get prepared for competitions.  Safety is foremost with our program.

 

ALL DIVERS WILL BE SUPERVISED WHEN USING ANY EQUIPMENT… boxes, bars, trampolines, boards and mats.  No one goes into the water until the coach gives the go ahead.
